Today Precarpathian University celebrates its 82nd anniversary and the 151st anniversary of Vasyl Stefanyk`s birth, a patron of the university
On this occasion, a number of events took place online, except for the awarding of the winners and prize-winners of the V Regional Literary and Publicistic Contest of Pupils and Students named after Vasyl Stefanyk.
Rector of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University Ihor Tsependa presented diplomas, valuable gifts, and books about Vasyl Stefanyk to the winners and prize-winners of the contest. Teachers and lecturers also received diplomas for active participation in the training of students.
An interview about volunteering activities of academic staff and students was also held during the online marathon. In short creative videos, the participants of the University Day were able to see PNU through the students’ eyes.
At the end of the ceremony students of the Precarpathian University sang the popular Ukrainian song «Oh, the Red Viburnum in the Meadow».
