2 tons of aid as part of the Common Help UA humanitarian project were provided by the foundation together with partners. Food, utensils, and household appliances have become so timely and essential for the Center and the needs of all people escaping the horrors of war!
In fact, since the first day of russia's military invasion, the Western Center has become a safe shelter for 262 internally displaced persons, including 56 children, pregnant women, the elderly, people with disabilities (including those in wheelchairs) who were forced to leave their homes immediately, from regions where military actions are carrying out and civilians are dying from bombings.
In addition, members of the National Paralympic team of Ukraine settled in the Western Center with their families. They performed phenomenally at the 2022 Paralympics in China and took a record second place in the team event, won 29 medals, including 11 gold, 10 silver, and 8 bronze. It was a victory that gave hope, chance, and even faith that Ukraine will defeat the killer country and be prosperous and happy!
